Envy by Sandra Brown

There's only one thing I can think about when it comes to this book. So, far it's her best writing yet.
Sex, suspence, revenge, love and getting what it yours back. This book has it all. Maris Matherly Reed fell in love with Noah Reed because of a book he wrote. On her desk is a manuscr i pt written by P.M.E and to her it's really good. Because of how it was written and delivered she didn't have a number or address to contact the writer.
Parker Evans is the one that wrote the prologe and sent it to her. He has an agenda and one of them is to get her there where he is at. At first he didn't know what to make of Maris but then he started to like her. She was smart and he knew he needed to play his cards right.
The amount of time Maris stayed with Parker the more she read his book the more she wanted to continue reading it. But, something ended up happening between them and she left. She knew Noah was waiting but she also knew that how she felt towards him had changed. Things weren't going to get any easier for her.
Her father ended up dying. She had the feeling that Noah killed him. Yes, Noah had an agenda of his own but his high horse that he road on was starting to crumble around him. Not thinking that Noah would kill her father and her father being smart enough to protect thier company he had worked it out that Noah would never have what he wanted.
By the end of the book, the truth comes out of Noah's mouth. Which was what Parker wanted in the first place even though he did at one time want to kill him, he didn't.
Read the book, it's really worth reading. I'm not going to give away any of the good parts. That you'll have to find out by reading it yourself. Enjoy, is all I can say. Now, I'm off to start another book.
